Peanut brownies

  • 125 grams of softened butter
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1½ cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 1 cup of peanuts

Cream softened butter and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat well. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa together. Mix into creamed mixture. Add peanuts.

Place balls of mixture onto a tray and flatten down with a fork. Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes, erring on the longer side. Makes 20.
