Scones
- 3 cups of flour
- 6 teaspoons of baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 75 grams of butter (cold)
- 1¼ cup of milk
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt, then rub in butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add milk and mix quickly with a table knife until a soft and slightly sticky dough has been achieved. Put dough on an oven tray, pat to a 2cm thickness, cut into 12 even pieces, and separate to allow room to spread. Brush the tops with milk.
Bake at 220°C for 10 minutes.
